There are a few good remixes i’ve heard recently, which i’ve enjoyed but they haven’t warranted a post in themselves. The time has come though for me to throw them into one post however, and from it i’ve come to realise they’re all remixes of female vocalists. I just wish you could get a couple of these as a dub version!

Sky Ferreira – One (Style Of Eye Dub Remix) (Download) Style of eye has been killing it over the past 7 years. Watching some of his sets over the years has left my mind a complete mess. How he does half the shit he does on 3 CDJ’s is beyond me, i swear he was doing stuff i never even knew possible, that or i was drunk from having such a good time. On top of him being an incredible DJ he’s one of the nicest guys i’ve met in the DJ world. So take a moment out of your life and have a listen to this remix of Sky Ferreira’s ‘One’ (the dub version as i can’t stand her vocals). Its no Big Kazoo but it’ll get the dance floor bouncing.

Oh Land – Sun of a Gun (Savage Skulls Remix) (Download) Savage Skulls come with a poppy remix that uses the vocals from the original quite heavily. I can’t imagine ever hearing this out, but it’s been made to be like it is and doesn’t try to be anything it isn’t. For that reason alone its a guilty pleasure.
