Eats Everything is back with a killer 2 track release on Pets Records. The first track ‘Jagged edge’ is as good as its alternative media counterparts (the movie starring Jeff Bridges and the RnB group). It features guitar stabs and a dark melodic techno edge, and while it might be a bit dark for some house fans, I personally love the captivating groove.
On the flip side, ‘This Elbow’ lightens the release up slightly. With a crazy bass driven breakdown the track manages to push its self back into a light hearted affair.
The EP drops on the 28th of May and I expect Jagged edge to be a huge hit in the clubs this spring/summer, if Spring ever comes.

Ruben Mandolini is set to release an EP consisting of three house monsters on Riva Starr‘s Snatch Records. The title track ‘Also’ has an engaging groove and unmistakable vocals but much more of a DJ Tool if i’m to be honest. The second track ‘Modular Love’, my personal favourite, drops a massive bassline on your face and has a groove to get anyone moving. Finally, ‘My Mind’, a re-interpretation of The Bucketheadz masterpiece finishes off the E.P. If i’m to be honest, I would personally play Modular Love out in the clubs but leave the rest for home.

Bills, Bills, Bills gets women on the floor everytime without fail. I’ve also thrown in what I personally think is Eminem’s greatest accomplishment; Rock Bottom. The track is raw, poetically just and lyrically on point.

Yet another Hip Hop sampled House track coming out, this time from Robosonic, and with remixes from the likes of Doctor Dru and Fritz Zander it’s a nice EP. The Title track ‘Worst Love’ samples Dilated People’s ‘Worst comes to worst’, and Doctor Dru takes things a bit deeper and delivers a lovely remix. The beauty of the a-side is solidified in its groove, a healthy balance of atmos and sub-bass. What Dusty Sundays leaves behind is further stressed through a-side backing “Girl Like You,” a garage infused original that pays tribute to the late, jackin’ dance music of 90s America.
